oh crap BO does call me maybe
Oh let me tell you, I'm all about these BO lip dubs and remixes. It started with that stupid LMFAO song about being sexy (my jam) and has since forged into some Canuck pop songs:
Yeah this song is killing me! In get stuck in your head and just keeps going and going and going. And baseball teams do sexy dances to it and then the Today show and Leno starting dancing too! It's one Canuck crazy thing. Woot woot.
BO, just call him maybe.

MJ ben buttoned into this kid
Woah, America's got talent has had some good new acts this year. There was the badass old lady tell you about sex and now they found Michael Jackson who may have pulled an Benjamin Button back in time to this kid:
Woah, like woah. Way to break it down sugar. I really like this kid. I would put him in my purse. Steal him right up. All that personality and sass. Yes please.
Did you like his closing statement..."it only matter if it comes from your heart" Oh lord. I love you.
OK I'm taking votes for this kid's next song. Bad? Billie Jean? Remember the Time?

epic car dances
Wow, not sure if you heard or not but there is an epic battle of car dancing happening amongst collegiate sports teams. You know, these teammates are trapped in 15-passenger vans drive to and fro for seasonal games. It all started with this car fun by the Harvard Baseball Team:
Then all the parodies begin including the Texasssss State baseball team with bagels and the LSU Tiger girls. The madness continues and now these teams are getting creative. Then the stupid Today Show did a competition with the teams doing it NYC. For more on this check below
ANNNNNNDDDD Leno got on that and did one with the big BO and Mr. R which is pretty funny:
Now I've got that stupid Call Me Maybe song running now-stop in my head. Damn you funny youtube videos:

proceed to par-tay
Momma B is a fan of crap, well you know crafty crap. If it makes those red hatters giggle it will probably end up in my house. I can point to numerous examples of this from coiled baskets to redneck wine glasses. Now I'm not complaining but I am surprised that my kitchen isn't full of these masterpieces:
If you look carefully you can see the signage of "proceeeed to party". You may not know what this is if 1) you are not a redneck, or 2) don't keep up with pop country music. Good thing you have me for such things. Check out this fun video for your viewing and pop culture pleasure:
Oh yeah you're welcome!

music of the moment
Here is my current jam of the moment. Don't particularly like the crap video but man does this song vibrate through my bones:
This has got to be a club mix. I swear I'd be dancing my balls of to this if I had time for such things anymore :)

Bon Joviver
I love music. I like to rock out and have a dance party. But man I do like to chill with a little midwestern goodness. Enter Bon Joniver, what you get when marrying the musical style of Bon Iver (I love cheddarheads) with classic Bon Jovi lyrics:
I love it. I need more Miracles of Modern Science in my life.

traffic dance party
OMG this video just made my day. This guy can dance....shit if he can direct traffic but mannnnn watch him move:
This Philippines traffic officer is really making the most of his job by dancing to some imaginary beats while directing traffic on the streets of Manila. It truly looks like the spirit of Michael Jackson is still walking the earth and Whoopi Goldbergged itself into this man’s body, and the result is one incredibly upbeat video that everyone can enjoy (except for the victims of the hundreds of inevitable accidents).

oh yeah! hip old lady
If my crazy grandparents were still alive I would have totally done this in their kitchen. I would have taught GS the shoulder dust off, the nose inch, and the chest pop. If this old lady had more junk in the trunk she totally could have done a hot bootie dance (but as GS always said "its a bitch getting old").
I mean check out her ty-died shirt and stretch pants. She is so hip she is almost a hipster (or gangsta, whichever):
Pop, pop, pop it like its hot. I like it.

dance party on a treadmill
Wowsa, check out this lady. She is totally, totally showing you up on a treadmill. She ain't runnin, hells no she is going to throw down and dance you off (I mean it ain't no chair in San Fran**). Check her get down:
Personally I like the two douches doing the running commentary, Beyonce what?!?! Holla at yo girl. Apparently she is a repeat customer who works on her moves while working it out. Hot.
Only on the Internet could someone become the second most famous person to pull off an intricately choreographed dance routine on a treadmill. But talent-wise, this lady makes those guys from OK GO look like they're stuck in walk mode.
**Insert memory from San Fransisco drunk, with the Beaver2.0, and having a 3 AM dance off with a bar stool. Ahh good times.

happy spooooky halloween
Well Happy (adults get to act stupid day) Halloween! I'm currently sitting in the international wing of the ATL, lovin me some live jazz music, and watching all the cute kiddos who get to wear their halloween all day long while rushing to their flights. I want to throw candy at them!
This got me thinking about some good halloween costumes, some of which I witnessed this weekend. Nik and I throw a big old halloween party which again ended with a bathroom debriefing around 3:30 AM. This wasn't because anyone was sick, but more just a chatty chat ritual. That dry ice fun was totally worth it. We had some amazing costumes, including a little HP, some strange cat with tin foil, Sookie (although we got no HBO retweet), the walk of shame, and a miss understood former beauty queen:

Other noteworthy costumes I ran across this year include:
Creative, but Pixar sooo is gonna sue you. Perhaps you should stick to something hot and spicy
Man, this piano playing man is totally blowing my mind. You just made this 24 hours of travel day for me. I'm gonna tip the shit out of him.

batman and bill cosby
I may have ran across the cutest kid ever. He is BATMAN! ("I'm baatman" in a scratchy voice) With Halloween approaching, the kiddos are getting excited about their costumes. Ted, the cutest kid ever, has been working on his batman impressions and the best ways of flexing his muscles this fall holiday season:
Wow that is the best interpretation of BILL COSBY I've ever seen. Forget Batman, Ted has his Cliff Huxtable impression down to a science. That whole slow moving dance that looks like he is taking a poop. Remember how the Cosby Show used to redo their intros each season? It was always a dance party amongst all the actors where good old Bill would look alot like this little batman:
Yep, perfect. Batman and Bill, uncanny likeness.

you got served in your own dance party
OK I'm a proponent of the personal dance party. I'll rock it out with the best of them. But sometimes your younger brother is sneaky and comes in to show you up:
You know that saying...."behind every good ____ is a ____" well I'm pretty sure that during this video the following applies:

I don't need no stinkin iPod
This may or may not be my live-in loverpant, N:
I know, I know, soooo ghetto yet inventive, right?
But let me ask you this: Does your mp3 player provide you with lumbar support??? It's hard to get down to Lady Gaga with lower back pain.
Someone please enter this man into a contest to win an iPod touch. On second thought, I would gladly give up my iPod shuffle for that pan full of bacon.

music of the moment
A month or so ago I was explaining to some friends how this song makes me want to dance. Then I got up from the table and showed them the moves running through my head whenever I hear this show. This works for me sometimes--where you see the moves along with the beat.
I love this song, but once I saw the video it was not at all what I expected:
OK I still like it. What's next? Alien sex and getting probed. Great.
Does this have an avatar feel to anyone else?

a belated MM birthday wish
Not sure if you heard or not, but the big BO turned 50 this week. Good thing we found out about that birthday certificate awhile back, because we are now at the 50 year anniversary of BO not being born in the US. I think this sums it up pretty well:

I don't think the big BO got any Marilyn Monroe (MM) type of "Mr. President" celebration, but he is one of only 7 presidents to celebrate this milestone in office. I guess that's something, but back in the day no one lived that long :) Happy bday BO, and don't worry women still love a silver fox--I mean look at Anderson Cooper, hot.

it's a good thing I don't have kids
It is a real good thing that I don't have children, because I would probably be that parent. The emphasis on that truly depends on your parental pedagogy. I, within reason, would most likely let my children listen to the music of their choice, including in this case Outkast. Who doesn't love Outkast? Well look at these cutie mccuties dancing their balls off with alittle Wii:
Now let's put on some Usher and throw down!!! To the windows, to the wall, OKkkkk? Those boys have got some moves. Someone needs to teach the Cville Trips how to do that, and soon.
It also should be noted that I would probably be the parent that encouraged my child to sing to more inappropriate songs, like Tik Tok or Rehab or Bad Romance. I'd also probably let my child paint their fingernails pink and express their own personalities.

dance party on blades
Woot woot, rollar blade like no one is watching you. Seriously, this a-mazing balding, moustache growing dude who has some moves. Check out his spin. Hot. H-O-T baby. AND I bet he could totally take you on a handlebar moustache ride as well.
If he was doing this dance on rollarskates I'd be even more impressed. Rollarblades are so the 90s. He needs some wrist guards. Also I hope he is listening to a cassette tape (or as I said in DC last weekend, "OMG that guy is listening to a VHS!!" as some old dude ran by us) because that would make this even better:
