While it is sad, I'm optimistic by the fact that they did rule that those 18k marriages will still stand, those who married between June 2008 and the Nov. election. This is likely an opening for class-action law-suits. How can they acknowledge some same-sex marriages...? Confusing. Those 18k marriages will have to be treated like any other hetero marriage. I don't think the court had a choice, the people did vote. They'll just have to vote again in 2010. This isn't over!!! =)
