DC is getting closer

So I've been following the DC voting representative in the House debate. For years DC residents have been trying to get the same rights as say every other American, and it is getting closer this year! Last weekend we talked about it in my meeting in DC.

So here is the issue: the Constitution states that all "states" have voting rights. Except that DC states for District of Columbia, so it is not a "state." BUT WAIT, Viriginia is a commonwealth and NOT a state either. Anyways, the issue is that all DC residents have to pay taxes but technically don't have voting rights in the House!!!

Eleanor Norton represents DC but doesn't get to vote. How many people are in DC? The same as saw Delaware???? I bet. OR how many of them are actually legal residents???

Anyways, I think they should have voting rights, except DC is like an island of weirdness all itself.
