I was saddened to hear about the stabbing that occurred at Virginia Tech last night. After the shootings that killed 33 in the spring of 2007, we really don't need any more violence on VA campuses. Actually we don't need violence on campuses in general!
There are current VT students who have now lived through 33 homicides on their campus. That is just sad and not needed.
VT sounded their emergency lockdown and response planned immediately which apparently went off without a hitch. So that was good!
Hoping for safe travels if I make it out to Blacksberg this weekend to visit Y.
